Missão

 O Programa de pós-graduação em Economia da UEM (PCE) é um programa público estadual de ensino e pesquisa, centrado na assimilação e produção de conhecimento nas diversas áreas da economia. Alunos, professores, funcionários e ex-alunos estão unidos em um propósito comum: aprender, pesquisar e liderar juntos na construção, disseminação e aplicação do conhecimento econômico comprometido com o desenvolvimento econômico e social da nossa região e do Brasil. Neste esforço valorizamos:
Criatividade;
 Pluralidade de pensamento, justiça e respeito à diversidade;
 Aprendizagem aprofundada e envolvimento cívico;
 Liderança intelectual e responsabilidade ética.

 

 

Objetivos

    • Formar Mestres e Doutores em Economia com solidez teórica e capacidade analítica e qualificar mão-de-obra de alto nível para o exercício do magistério superior, a pesquisa e o exercício profissional;
    • Contribuir para a discussão de temas relevantes para o desenvolvimento da Ciência Econômica e da Economia Brasileira por meio da organização de eventos nacionais, internacionais, regionais, estaduais e locais;
    • Promover o intercâmbio de pesquisadores e estudiosos no âmbito nacional e internacional;
    • Gerar novos conhecimentos e consolidar os já existentes, servindo como centro de pesquisa nas áreas de economia aplicada e desenvolvimento econômico.

    Collaboration between University of Calabria (Italy) and State University of Maringà (Brazil)

     

    PNRR TNE GPS-Education: Green and Pink for Sustainable Education

    Project Code: TNE23-00012; CUP: D74G23000280006

    The GPS-Education project, focused on Green and Pink for Sustainable Education, financed by European Union, promotes sustainable and innovative education by combining ecological practices (Green) with inclusive and creative approaches (Pink). The collaboration between the University of Calabria (Italy) and the State University of Maringá (Brazil) aims to the development of advanced teaching and learning methodologies, and a dual degree program, allowing students to earn academic qualifications recognized in both countries. The partnership opens concrete opportunities for international exchange for both students and faculty members, fostering educational, teaching, and cultural experiences at both universities.

    On September 5, 2025, a meeting was held with Prof. Janna Smirnova (University of Calabria), during which the concrete results of the collaboration between the University of Calabria and the State University of Maringá were presented, including activities related to the dual degree program and opportunities for student and faculty exchanges. The event highlighted the implemented educational innovations and the value of the partnership between the two universities in the field of sustainable education. This initiative represents a model of international collaboration, showing how universities from different countries can work together to provide a greener, more inclusive, and innovative education, offering students and faculty tangible opportunities for global learning.
