Azenil Staviski

The dissertation analyses the importance and the effects of innovations in the agriculture development in Paraná State, Southern Brazil. It focuses the coffee technological models “Traditional”, “The Renovation Model” and lately, “Paraná’s Technological Model”, conceived and recommended by IAPAR (Agronomic Institute of Paraná). It checks the models evolution in relation to the economical policies towards the sector and compares financial indicatives to measure, in a direct way, the results achieved by coffee producers. The conclusion is that “Paraná’s Technological Model” offers a more efficient and competitive coffee production perspective.
