This work aims to study the wage gap between white and non-white men in Brazil. The analysis was accomplished in nine states, which have metropolitan areas. Using Oaxaca (1973) and Blinder (1973) methodology to calculate the decomposition of the wage gap in the labor market, it was found a non explained wage gap between white and non- white men in an order of 25%, and the education is responsible for the bulk of the gap. Accomplishing the same analysis separately for metropolitan areas, solemnity-representative municipal districts and non solemnity-representative municipal districts, a relationship was not verified between the size of the cities and the discrimination level.
