The objective of this work is to develop a compatible theoretical model with the relation praised for Krueger and Lindahl (2000), between tax of growth of long run and schooling. The theoretical result is esteem for State Brazilian for period 1985-2000 using of panel data. The econometrical methods of Feasible Generalized Least Square (FGLS) and Prais-Winstem had indicated the relation between the two variables in study as being nonlinear, or either, in the form of inverted U. The schooling interval that produces the tax maximum of found economic growth was of 4.54 the 5,08, considering the supply of human capital aggregate, and of 6.35 the 7,20, when not considered the effective human capital aggregate, therefore, the results had been inferior to the found for Krueger and Lindahl (2000) of 7,5 years of schooling for the countries.
